Recent Arrival! 2023 Subaru Forester Base. Incredible value. Premium interior. Fun. A fun, comfortable, great car. Interior has quality materials, tactile, and attractive. Driver and passenger room beats much larger SUVs. Ride is plush. Performance fine for all except sports car addicts. I look forward to every drive of this value-packed vehicle. Pleasant to drive and nimble SUV. Beauty of the all-time 4-wheel drive. Absolutely amazing in snow, thick mud, going up or down; feels “intelligent” in bad conditions. Nothing will stop you. Lots of security features, some confusing. Ride at recommended 35 pressure is NOT comfortable. Rather noisy engine (cold start), sounds very busy on accelerating (CVT!). Altogether a very sound and tight vehicle, attractive enough but underpowered and definitely not comfortable on bumpy or badly paved city streets. It’s an SUV after all. Needs 50-80 hp more.
