Interior quality is quite surprising for a Corolla. Soft touch materials with white stitching accent the dashboard and looks very clean. I only wish they left out the gloss black materials because they just make me OCD about fingerprints everywhere. I decided to get the 6 speed as I've driven 2 manuals before this. The throws are excellent and with the IMT activated, downshifts are a breeze. Once you get used to it, especially with IMT activated, it makes for very smooth take offs in first. The standard features on this SE model are really blowing me away compared to the other cars I've driven. I don't ever need to take my key out of my pocket. I can lock, unlock, and start the car with no key. Auto climate control means I can just set the temperature and never have to worry about getting too hot or cold again. Automatic high beams gives me more peace of mind during night time driving. Radar cruise control will keep a certain distance away from the car in front of you, speed up or slow down depending on how fast the car is going, and assist keeping you in your lane. I feel so safe in this car. Performance is surprising for a Toyota Corolla. It's faster than an ND1 Miata and much more comfortable to drive. Of course if you want a faster Corolla, then wait for the GR Corolla to hit the dealers.
